Computer-Guided Implant Therapy - A Hands-On Workshop
in 3-D Digital Implant Dentistry
During the last decade, computer-guided software technologies have had a major impact on the practice of dentistry. They have altered the manner in which we gather diagnostic information, plan and execute both simple and complex surgical/restorative procedures. The goals of these sessions will be to give registrants first-hand experience in the application of three-dimensional imaging and navigation technology, and demonstrate how these systems aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
This full-day workshop offers hands-on training in the use of computer-guided treatment programs. Specifically, the sessions will explore how 3-D imaging and navigation technology helps providers fabricate surgical templates, generate final prosthesis and place implants more effectively as part of the "team approach." Program topics include CT scan planning software, CT-guided surgery, and fabrication of provisional restorations prior to surgical therapy for insertion at the time of implant placement.
This workshop will offer six sessions, each featuring a speaker and system from one of our corporate sponsors: AstraTech Dental, BIOMET 3i, Keystone Dental, Materialise Dental, Nobel BioCare and Straumann. Participants will attend the full-day session of their choice with the option of viewing other sessions for comparison purposes.
Complimentary breakfast and lunch will be provided to attendees.
A cocktail reception will immediately follow.
