A complete schedule of annual meeting fees can be accessed online or by checking the registration forms in the center of the Preliminary Program.

Registration will be held on the 2nd Floor of the Hynes Convention Center at:

2:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Wednesday, February 27
6:30 am - 6:00 pm, Thursday, February 28
7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Friday, February 29
7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Saturday, March 1

 Confirmations

Online registrants are urged to print the confirmation screen at the end of the registration process; a confirmation will not be mailed. Registrants who submit forms by fax or mail will receive a confirmation by mail.  Bring your confirmation to the meeting.  This is your proof that you are registered for the meeting.

 Cancellation Policy

You may receive a refund if your cancellation is received in writing (mail, fax or email) on or before February 17, 2008.  A $75 processing fee will be retained.  No refunds of $5 or less will be made.

 President's Reception

The President's Reception will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Sheraton Boston Hotel on Friday, February 29.  All registered attendees are invited to this social gala.  Please plan to attend.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

AO Travel Desk will send you an acknowledgement of your reservation.  Please review all information for accuracy.  E-mail acknowledgements will be sent within 72 hours of reservation being processed.  Fax and mailed acknowledgements will be sent within 10-14 days.  If you do not receive your acknowledgement in this time frame, please contact the AO Travel Desk at osseo@ttgonline.com
You will not receive a confirmation from the hotel.

ROOM RATES / TAXES

To take advantage of the special AO rates, please book your reservation by January 30, 2008.  After that date, AO room blocks will be released and hotels may charge higher rates.  All rates are per room and are subject to 12.45% occupancy tax (subject to change).  

Special requests cannot be guaranteed; however, hotels will do their best to honor all requests.  Hotels will assign specific room types upon check-in, based on availability.

GUARANTEE

All reservations require a valid credit card or check guarantee at the time of confirming reservations.  Requests received without a valid guarantee will be returned and will not be processed.  Credit cards must be valid through March 2008.  If paying by check, make check payable to Travel Technology Group.

DEPOSITS

If you choose to mail in a check deposit, it should be made payable to Travel Technology Group and mailed along with your housing request form to the address provided. 

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations must be received by the AO Travel Desk on or prior to February 5, 2008.  After this date, cancellations must be made directly with the hotel you are confirmed in.  Most hotels have a 72 hour cancellation policy, please refer to the cancellation policy on your confirmation from the AO Travel Desk. 

CHANGES

Continue to use AO Travel Desk for new reservations, changes, & cancellations through February 5, 2008.

Beginning February 7, 2008 new reservations, changes & cancellations must be directed to your confirmed hotel.  All cancellations must be received 72 hours prior to arrival, or one night’s room and tax will be assessed by your confirmed hotel.  Please note:  Your confirmed hotel may assess an early departure fee for departure date changes at check-in.

 AO Official Travel Agency

To book your air travel, please call Uniglobe Preferred Travel at (847) 640-7100 or (800) 626-0359 and after the prompt dial “0” (M-F  8:30 am – 5:30 pm CST). 

Book your travel online at www.uniglobepreferred.com.  Scroll down and click on Rapid-Rez links.  When the booking page comes up, click on "Create New User”.  Enter personal information, click "done"' the next page is for more detailed personal information - here you must enter a credit card number and billing address to make a reservation.  Scroll down and click "Save".  Click on the "Travel Planner" tab to make a reservation.  Please record your User ID and your Password for future use.  Discount fares are automatically displayed on this site and booking on this site will have a reduced agency service fee of $15.

 Airfare Discounts

AO has arranged with American Airlines for special discounts on airfares to Boston.  Save up to 5% when your tickets are purchased on American Airlines and some restrictions may apply.  Please mention the AO Authorization number (listed below) when making your airline reservations.

 Complementary Transportation from Logan International Airport to Hotels

Astra Tech is the proud sponsor of the AO shuttle service from the airport to the Sheraton Boston, Westin Copley Place and Marriott Copley Place Hotels from:

Representatives will be in the Baggage Claim area to direct you to the buses.  Buses will run approximately every 20 - 30 minutes.

 Transportation to and from Logan International Airport

The AO has negotiated special reduced rates with J.C. Transportation Inc & ACE American Super Shuttle for your airport ground transfers.  To make your airport ground transfer reservations please click here or call (781) 598-3433 or (800) 517-2281.  The regular rate is $14.50 per person for the Sheraton Boston, Westin Copley Place and Boston Marriott Copley Place Hotels.  When you  print our AO coupon and present it to the driver the rate will be reduced by $2.00 ($12.50), if you book online the rate will be reduced by $3.00 ($11.50).

This service operates seven days a week, from 7:00am until 2:00am.  Vans leave the terminal every 15 minutes.  When you arrive at the airport and  have your luggage call (800) 517-2281 and tell them you have arrived.  They will direct you as to where you will be picked up and which van to look for.  You will be picked up outside of the baggage claim area.  

Taxi Service
Boston taxis are available at all Logan terminals 24 hours a day.  Distance from the Airport is about 4 miles and it can take anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes depending upon traffic conditions.  Rates are based upon the meter system, the starting meter is $2.25, each mile is $2.60, and there will be a Harbor Tunnel toll of $4.50 added.  Children under the age of 12 will be offered a rate of $8.00.

Some speakers may be eligible for complimentary general meeting registration and/or workshops.  However, all speakers must register for the meeting regardless of whether or not a fee is charged.
